Yet another day I'm just so tired. Went to work at 7am today. Opening shift. Kinda happy that they are entrusting this thing to me. Not yet, but they are preping me. The pay will be the same, but I seriously don't mind. Wanna learn new things.. It can get pretty mechanical.
Anyway, went skating again, this time with my colleagues from Subway. They're from a mix of Hongkong and China. Very fun ppl! And on of them can skate really really well. Why are asians so talented? Tell me? why? hahaha. This is discrimination, but it's positive =D
It's a pity couldn't join them for dinner afterwards. We skated for nearly 3 hours! Yay, the first semblance of a social life!
But most notably, i'm on my way to learning the powerslide. It's a very impressive brake where you shave a lot of ice into the face of passerbys.. it's tough for me to learn it cuz back in singapore, I was using figure skates (that's the only one they have).. so my style is very figure skating.. that's what my friend told me. after that, i tried to be as ungraceful as possible. haha.
